Mr. G's HOME-CARE BOOTCAMP takes place on select Saturdays or Sundays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm EST, and includes:
1. Identification and safe use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety-goggles, dust-masks, respirators, fall-arrest systems, hard hats, gloves, work boots and protective clothing.
2. Identification, safe use and maintenance of the hand and power tools most commonly used for home care, maintenance, repair, beautification, and renovation.
3. Identification and safe handling of commonly used building-materials and fasteners such as drywall (sheetrock), dimensional lumber, tile, flooring, nails, screws, wall coverings, etc.
4. Identification and safe use of ladders.
5. Intro to tape-measure use, simple construction math and material take-off estimation.
6. Intro to sandpaper, sanders, scrapers, paint, primer, stains, polyurethane, solvents, and paint-related equipment.
7. Intro to installation of basic home fixtures such as, curtain-rods, grab-bars, towel-racks, wall decorations, shelving, etc.
8. Overview of WSOF home-care handbook (handbook included with purchase of bootcamp).
9. Intro to basic carpentry.

Your $150 registration fee for Mr. G's HOME-CARE BOOTCAMP is 100% Tax Deductible and will help provide support to at-risk youth in the greater Cincinnati area, who are interested in construction-industry careers.
Cost includes one, eight-hour sessions, all materials fees, box lunch and home-care handbook.
Due to safety protocols, a maximum of 10 trainees will be included per session. GROUP RATES ARE AVAILABLE
